Basic Training for Ships using Fuels covered within IGF code

  • 4 Days

  • New mandatory minimum requirements for the familiarization and training of Masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on ships subject to the IGF Code are established by Regulation V/3 of the STCW Convention and detailed in Section A-V/3 of the STCW Code.

  • Any seafarer who has completed the four Basic Safety Courses, under STCW Regulation VI/1 and Section A-VI/1

  • Seafarers holding Basic or Advanced Level Gas Tanker Cargo endorsement / COP are not required to undertake this training

  • Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course

  • Four Basic Safety Courses Certificates

  • Valid Medicals from a D.G.Shipping Approved Doctor
